Controversial statement on Hindus has created a ruckus in Assam:

All Union United Democratic Front (AIUDF) President Maulana Badruddin Ajmal’s controversial statement on Hindus has created a ruckus in Assam. The ruling BJP criticized Ajmal, saying Ajmal is another version of Aurangzeb. He should immediately tender an unconditional apology. He is promoting haram culture, which will not be tolerated in any way. He is not a ‘messiah,’ but he is a hunter. The BJP has demanded the withdrawal of the Maulana title given to Ajmal by the Muslim body.

On the other hand, Hindu Yuba-Chatra Parishad, Assam, has filed a complaint against Badruddin Ajmal at Naugaon Sadar Police Station for his remarks on Hindu girls. MP Maulana Badruddin Ajmal finally apologized for his statement late on Saturday night after the controversy escalated.

On Friday, Ajmal gave a controversial statement on Hindus, saying that Hindus should adopt the formula of Muslims in the matter of children and marry children at an early age. Muslim youths marry at the age of 20 to 22, and Muslim women marry at 18, which is constitutional. They (Hindus) keep one, two, or three illegal wives before marriage, he said. They don’t stop here, Ajmal said. They don’t give birth to children, enjoy themselves, and save money.

MP Badruddin Ajmal, who reached a program in Karimganj, Assam, said, after 40 years, where is the ability to give birth to a child? They should adopt the formula of Muslims and get their children married at the age of 18-20 years. Ajmal also commented on Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma regarding Love Jihad. In the context of the Shraddha incident, Ajmal also responded to Sarma’s claims of love jihad.

Ajmal said the Chief Minister is one of the top leaders of the country today. Who is stopping them? You also keep doing four-five love-jihads, and you keep taking our Muslim girls. We will welcome you and will not even fight.

The BJP is infuriated by this controversial statement of the Speaker. BJP spokesperson Ranjeev Kumar Sharma said Ajmal is another version of Aurangzeb. He is the custodian and bearer of haram culture. The BJP strongly condemns his statement and immediately tenders an unconditional apology, he said. Along with this, he said, in the country of Lord Ram and Mother Sita, it belongs to women, which will not be tolerated. He also demanded the government take strict action on this.

BJP MLA Digant Kalita said in Guwahati, ‘You are a Muslim, and we are Hindus. Do we have to learn from you how to live? We do not need to learn from Muslims. This is the land of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita. Bangladeshi people have no place here. If you want to make such a statement, then go to Bangladesh. Here we will not allow you to do this at all.

BJP MP Pabitra Margherita criticized Ajmal, saying these words are unconstitutional and unacceptable in a civilized society. He masquerades as a ‘messiah’ for the minority people in Assam and the North East, especially Islam, but he acts like a hunter. Government should take strict action against this Islamic agenda. Such people cannot be left in the open.

Assam Pradesh Congress demands Ajmal’s arrest.

Late in the evening, Assam Pradesh Congress President Bhupane Kumar Bara said whatever Ajmal said is against the Assamese culture and tradition. Congress strongly condemns this statement and demands Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma arrest Ajmal as per the law immediately. He said, let’s see what the police of
